Susan Mayer

Susan Mayer is a licensed massage therapist in Morton Grove, Illinois. She is also a professional member of the AMTA, and a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (1992) Susan holds a B.S. in Anthropology from Loyola University Chicago.  In 1996, she self published “The Anatomy Book for Musicians,” and has served on the performance healthcare committee of the National Flute Association.

Susan has been an A.C.E. personal trainer, and was certified as a yoga instructor from the American Viniyoga Institute in 2006. Susan’s interest in massage and bodywork has been life long, starting with foot massages for family members as far back as she can remember. Personally, her life was transformed by a 15-minute massage which cut 10 seconds off a previous best time in her 200 individual medley event.

She is certified in Nurturing the Mother and Integrative Reflexology. As owner of Muscle Dynamics, her practice consists of neuromuscular therapy (NMT) for relief of chronic pain, stress reduction, reflexology, and private yoga sessions.
