WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Enhance your reflexology sessions with heated basalt rocks and aromatherapy!
Take your reflexology sessions to the next level with these new skills:
Safe and effective use of heated basalt rocks and aromatherapy during a reflexology session
Techniques to use the rocks both in the affected area and as a wrap or pack on the feet
Therapeutic aromatherapy with eight essential oils targeting common discomforts
How to combine the oils with a carrier foot balm for the reflexology session
*It is helpful to have had prior experience with reflexology but not necessary.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING
1 set of sheets
Set of basalt rocks with a heat source (contact your instructor for more information)

Eileen T. Newsome
Eileen graduated from The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in 2001 and continues to use and expand her know-how to best serve families and special populations as a professional and a volunteer. She continues to be interested in the evolving body, mind and brain science and is excited about how neuroplasticity therapies are offering hope to people with chronic conditions that once were believed beyond hope. She is a certified Nurturing the Mother® and Baby’s First Massage® practitioner. As a member of Zero to Three, she pursues her interests in early adaptive and non-adaptive development. Eileen is a Reiki Master and teacher. She received her BS degree from Florida State University and has completed the Swedish Institute’s first Advanced Personal Training Program. She is a member of AMTA.
With a deepening awareness and greater knowledge of how families thrive, it was only natural for Eileen to embrace the Nurturing the Mother® body, mind, spirit approach to pregnancy and postpartum massage. Eileen teaches Nurturing the Mother® 2 and 3-day continuing education classes in NY, NJ, MN and FL. She is a licensed massage therapist in NY (#014510) and FL (MA43447).
