About Claire

Claire loves being a mother and grandmother. "Dance party" with her granddaughter Addie is one of her favorite things. Grandson Nathaniel, was born just as Integrative Reflexology®: Theory and Practice went on sale in 2017. He loves music and playing anything that makes sounds. The birth of Claire’s own three babies created a passion in her to support mothers. Her Nurturing the Mother® pregnancy massage program was born from that passion and has expanded to include postpartum massage and fertility massage.

Claire has been doing massage, bodywork and reflexology for over 40 years. It is in her bones and cells. For her, it is like breathing. Integrative Reflexology®, as she says, "is work made simple; it comes naturally, it makes sense and it is a joyful way to work the feet. Bring the feet to life and the body will follow."  She loves feet, hers and yours, and she loves feet to feel good. She knows that feet feeling good makes bodies feel better.

Whether she is teaching in Montana or at Topsail Beach, NC, her heart is happy in nature - hanging with the wolves at Howler's Inn in Yellowstone; playing, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the snow; walking through the aspens in fall and the dogwoods in spring; sunrise coffee at Pam's beach house; soaking in hot springs wherever she finds them. She needs a bumper sticker that says, "I brake for hot springs."

Summers you can find Claire picking blueberries on her blueberry farm and playing "fairy's in the blueberries" with all the children who come to pick with her. When she's in the kitchen you'll often find her making her specialty gluten-free blueberry muffins, blueberry salsa, chocolate covered blueberries or canning apple sauce and apple butter.
